Sometimes the purpose of a painting is not to tell a story, but to hold space.
To create a point of balance, where simply being is enough.
It was important to me that the painting did not strive to be understood or merely beautiful.
Its essence is composure: form, stillness, strength.
Some may see something demonic in this figure.
For me, it is not about evil, but about calm despite.
